• Rohu scientific name is Labeo rohita. Labeo rohita., are found in large quantity in rivers and lakes.
• Labeo rohita., herbivorous. and bottom feeders. Its body is compressed and adult fish can attain 1 meter length and 4 kg weight.
• Labeo rohita., colour on side is brown or blue and silvery on lower side.
• Labeo rohita., body consists of large size, overlapping cycloid type of scales. Its head region is pressed which is short, obtuse and male blunt snout.
